The aFe POWER SCORCHER BLUE performance modules are the next generation of plug-and-play technology. These modules are the fastest way to safely gain significant performance gains, while improving drivability, without modifying or leaving any trace on the Engine Control Unit (ECU). The SCORCHER BLUE modules features an LED remote for in-cabin, on-the-fly, power adjustments while also providing Bluetooth connectivity through our downloadable app on your iOS or android device. The app is downloadable for free on the APP Store or Google Play store and provides setting adjustments, custom tunes, gauges to view different engine parameters, measureable acceleration times and more. Designed with factory style connectors, these modules easily connects for a quick and simple install. The LED control switch can be routed through the firewall into the cabin or connect to the module via Bluetooth with the smartphone app. In-Cabin, on-the-fly power adjustments can be made to accommodate your driving needs. Select one of four power settings on the in-cab LED control switch or control the module remotely via the free iOS or android app. The smartphone connects to the module via Bluetooth and displays engine parameters (MAP). There are 4-power settings identifiable by the LED light on the remote or in the smartphone app; Stock (Green), Sport (Yellow), Sport+ (Orange) and Race (Red). These modules are Bluetooth 4.0 capable and can connect to most iOS or android devices, which allows you to control the module without running any wire through the firewall. The aFe POWER SCORCHER BLUE app is free on the APP Store and Google Play store and allows the smartphone device to become a handheld remote for the module. It also displays turbo boost gauge (MAP), allows you to customize each power mode, upgrade to the latest revision and even measure 0 to 60 ¼ mile times

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
