About the Author

Barbara Hamilton was baptized at age seven, but now in her seventies is still growing, learning, and understanding MORE of God’s plans and purpose for each season of her life. On Sundays, you can find her in Sunday School studying God’s Word and fellowshipping with other people there. As a retired educator/school counselor, she enjoys surprising children and adults with the gift of a blank journal with their name laser printed on the cover and the scripture: “Jesus Loves Me and has a wonderful plan for my life.”

When she was younger, she was captain of the Lights of Zion Drill Team, a youth Bible School teacher, and a youth coordinator. Now she works in the information section of a large Houston megachurch. She has two beautiful, creative, and successful daughters and one grandson who, while he will have a lot to learn, will someday be mighty in this land.

God has been so good to her and she wants others, especially the youth, to get to know Him and who we are through him.
